Abbey By Abbey Clancy Fashion Range For Matalan

I have to be honest I never though Abbey Clancy could pull this out the bag just goes to show you really never should judge a book by it's cover.
Teaming up with Matalan she's designed a range that's modern, feminine, and affordable.

I have been inundated with emails and messages asking about the dress I wore on Saturday night while I was out celebrating my year anniversary with the Mr.
If you love dresses and you want to keep your look classy then I'm pretty sure you'll find something in this range to suit you.
I have always felt the need to have my boobs on show to feel nice on a night out, but after the weekend I've convinced myself this just inst true, you can still cover up and look classy and feel nice, although getting into a size 10 dress was enough to make me feel a million dollars!

This high neck dress features a chunky gold zip that runs the whole length of the dress, the flattering ruched material and panel stitching to the waist area all add lovely touches to this dress.
It's made of a super soft and slightly stretchy material that hugs you, and it's so comfy to wear. The long sleeves make it perfect for the colder months, and of course means you don't need a coat!

I teamed my outfit with a gold and black clutch bag and some glittery heels.

Abbey Clancy High Neck Dress £30 Matalan, Gold/Black Leopard Clutch Bag £25 River Island, Glitter T Bar Heels Schuh £50, Ring Trema Large Ring £159 Swarovski.
To be honest this dress looks far more luxurious and expensive than the £30 it's selling for, and I'm convinced that after the amount of people asking where I got it from it wont be around for much longer, It's on-line right now & I think I'm going to treat myself to the three other colours, this really will be a key piece you'll be able to wear time and time again.

Shop the dress & the rest the range at the Matalan Website

What do you think of my Abbey Dress?

I know so may of you follow me on Insta, and I've had a lot of questions and emails asking about my glittery eyes last night, well this is the kit I used to create the look, and it's all in the box, even the brush!
The 'Shadowbase' that Frontcover have formulated is a fantastic primer, making the pigment shadow's really 'pop' on your lids, as well as grabbing hold of the holographic glitter. Here's how I created my disco ball christmassy eyes....

I simply dotted the Shadowbase across my lid, up to the crease only, and then pressed the 'Darkly' black pigment all over my lid, and topped with some of the gorgeous holographic glitter all over.I finished the look with a fresh base and a bright red lippie, not to mention lashings of mascara.

These pictures are a little blurry on purpose to try and show you the different colours in the glitter!

Argan Secret Hair Products

I have been on the quest for a really moisturising yet gentle hair are range for a little while now, I was contemplating having my hair extensions put back in because my hair seemed to have ground to a haunt growth wise and I needed something to change up my routine, fast.

I was speaking to my hair dresser and I explained my dilemma, I told her how fed up I was with my hair at its current length and she suggested looking at my shampoo and how I keep moisture in my locks, she suggested I try these products by Argan Secrets, and I'm really glad I did.
The shampoo is sulphate free and that means no salt, this is an ingredient you'll find in all the high street hair are products, and the truth is it does nothing in the long run for your hair. Since I've been using the shampoo and deep conditioning mask, along with regular (minimal) trims it's actually given my hair a kick up the butt and it's started to grow.

I've always had thick hair so that's fortunately not a concern for me, but I long for length, so I'm going to keep going with these products.

I picked mine up in Sally's, you can buy them on their website right here too, they are soften on a 3 for 2 promo and cost £11.99 for the sulphate free shampoo and around £15 for the miracle masque.

They smell fruity, yet musky, delicious.

I have to say for the price I am impressed and it really leaves your hair feeling light and refreshed without weighing it down.

Have you ever tried Argan Secrets?

Eye Of Horus Mascara

Eye Of Horus has just landed in the UK, an Australian make up brand that's set to rival some of our premium beauty brands.

I really like what this brand are about, they never test on animals, or use any animal hair in their brushes, all the products are paraben free, and contain as many natural ingredients that they can pack in.

The range of products are all made based on an ancient Egyptian formula, and ingredients , including the ever popular moringa oil, claimed by the gods for its natural beneficial beautifying properties.

I've been reviewing the Eye Of Horus Mascara this week* and I have to say I really like it, I am always wary of straying away from my trusted brands.

I will let you judge the results for yourself.....

Top picture shows my lashes natural, and lower picture shows them with 2 coats of EOH Mascara applied.
Side view, really nice lifting effect to my very straight lashes!
The mascara is safe for use on even the most sensitive eyes and is rich in natural oils and waxes, it wont sting, clump, or run. The brush is like a little lash comb and is really easy and nice to hold while applying the product.
It comes beautifully packaged in a gift nag, complete with gold wrapping paper inside, the gold logo and ribbon give it a really luxurious feel, great for a gift too.

The only niggle is that for me it's just not quite volumising enough, but I will be using this for my every day mascara its really nice and long lasting, as well as being clump free.

You can get your very own mascara right here at the Eye Of Horus Cosmetics online shop, for just £17.99, check out the other products they have too, some fab bits.
