Garnier/Oil Beauty Range

I'm all about keeping my skin super hydrated especially in the colder months, I am addicted to these Oil Beauty products from Garnier*

Oil Beauty are both oil infused with Argan, Macadamia, Almond and Rose, and the result is simply amazing. I'm addicted to scent too, lasts all day on the skin. The scrub is gentle enough to use every day if you want to, although the scrub does pack some bigger particles which give a real good exfoliation. Great for the day before you apply your faux glow.

The nourishing lotion features a super handy pump, making application so easy. The lotion glides into the skin with ease and leaves a real glow without a hint of shimmer in sight. It has a real spa luxury feel to it and I am loving it.

Shop the entire range for different skin types by clicking here the lotion starts at around £5.25 for a 250ml bottle, and the scrub is £7.49.

Have you tried any of the Oil Beauty range?

BeautySoClean/Cake Pop Scented Conditioning Brush Cleaner

Do you ever clean your make up brushes?

I am really good at keeping mine clean but I know some of you struggle to find the time, well fear not I have found the solution!

Make up brushes harbour bacteria and ultimately that all ends up on your make up palettes and then back on your skin, yuk.

Peaches & Cream in Liverpool are an official seller of the amazing BeautySoClean Conditioning Brush Cleaner, and it's Cake Pop scented, whats not to love?!

Personally I'd recommend you clean all your brushes thoroughly before you use this on your brushes, then after each use or every couple of days you can simply spray this onto the brush it's self and simply wipe it across some tissue  to remove any residue. This is also really handy if your using a limited amount of brushes and need to switch your brushes quickly and easily.

Shop the brush cleanser from the Peaches and Cream online store here and it's £6.99 for a 60ml bottle. If you'd like to treat your make up to some cleaning mist you can shop the other products in the range at the BeautySoClean online shop.

Clarins/Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils

They're back!

We know what we love and by popular demand Clarins have brought back these gorgeous Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils & they're here to stay!

The oils were released as part of a previous collection and were only around for a limited time, If your a fan of them already then you'll know why. If you've not treated yourself yet, then get them on your Christmas list, they are a lip essential. The velvet tipped applicator makes applying this oil so easy, and the consistency isn't as you'd expect, it's not runny like oil, or sticky like gloss. To say you cant feel them on the lips wouldn't be an honest review, but they are super hydrating and they just glide onto the lips so easily.

It's so comfortable on the lips and lasts a good few hours without needing a touch up.

The clever people at Clarins have combined their unbeatable facial oils into these lip oils, I'm sure you've also reached out for an oil to re hydrate your skin and the lips are no different.

These will now be a staple in my handbag for daily nourishment.

The oils currently only come in two varieties, 01 Honey which deposits no colour on the lips, just a lovely clear glossy finish, where as the 02 Raspberry shade deposits a hint of colour on the lips, so if you like pink or red tones then opt for this one.
Shop the lip oils via the Clarins website by clicking here at just £18 each they really are a luxury & they'll ensure your lips are perfect for the mistletoe season ;)

Ugg/Ellee Boots

I've always longed for a pair of proper Uggs, I've been guilty of buying really cheap versions in the past, and they just don't last or keep your feet warm.

When I visited Chesire Oaks Designer Outlet recently I was drawn to the Ugg store, I think these were meant to be mine... I had my eye on these last year but at £175 they were rather pricey, seems having a bit of patience paid off as I picked these up in the outlet shop for just over £100!

These are the womens Ellee Boots, and I was drawn to them because of the turn down tops, the exposed sheepskin, I hate the plain uggs and the ankle style height suits my legs shape much better, if like me your short then try a pair of ankle style they are much more flattering!

You'll be lucky to find this exact style unless you come across them online in your size or if you are heading to the outlet, however Ugg have brought out this years version, I am in love with these but I do think they are probably more prone to look grubby and at almost £300 they are really pricey for winter boots.

These are the Patten Boots
You can shop around for my Ellee Boots by clicking here and the Patten Boots can be bought by clicking here

Remember genuine Uggs only come in half sizes, there are so many fakes so make sure you buy from an authorised retailer.

It's that time of year again, gone are the days of chocolate advents, last year was really the first year that took the beauty advent world by storm, and this year the offerings seem to be bigger and better.

I have done some research to bring you, what I think in my opinion are the best on the market, some of them are 12 day countdowns, and some are the full 24/25 days. I have two on my wish list although they aren't the cheapest so I'm not sure I'll end up with either this year!

Click on the calendar title to head straight to the relevant page to buy the one that takes your fancy....

This has to be one of my two fave's...

I'm sure it must be sold out due to my other half buying me the last one right?
The beautiful Georgian style townhouse encases all your beloved JM scents, real luxury this one.

Crammed full of bath and body treats this is a must for Lush fans, for me this one isn't so good as I don't have a bath so can never make the most of all the lovely bombs. Christmas editions are included in this advent so your getting a real treat.

Clarins/The Essentials Festive Palette 2015

I have to say the festive make up that hits stores always gets me so excited, being able to add glitter and go OTT with the sparkle at this time of year is totally acceptable.

I am loving this beautiful festive edition of Clarins Essential Palette*, designed to take you from office to bar in one compact. With a variety of matte and satin shades you can opt for a muted daytime nude look, or vamp up the glam with the gorgeous deep purple and that gold....
There's even a handy guide in the box which if your a bit unsure of where to apply each shade even that's covered. I'll be creating some eye looks in the run up to the festive season so keep your eyes peeled.
This years palette has been created with the world in mind, each one comes with a  unique code which once you enter online a tree will be planted in the Brazil rain forest, and Clarins will even send you a certificate, so you can buy this knowing that your helping the planet as well as giving a real luxury gift.

Check out the full report on how Clarins are helping the planet, and shop the palette at the Clarins Website for just £35, if last year is anything to go by these are never around long so snap one up while you can.

Jo Malone/Candles & Cologne!

As I was lucky enough to get all these goodies for my 30th Birthday I thought they warranted a post of their very own.

If you've never experience a Jo Malone product, your missing out. The candles are sheer luxury and fill your home with the most beautiful fragrances. Floral, fresh or fruity there's something for everyone.

The Peony & Blush Suede Cologne is beautiful, a powdery floral with top notes of red apple really compliment the floral peony tones and the suede. I've had so many people ask me what this is when I'm wearing it and the staying power is pretty impressive to, I'd say 4-6 hours.

The Velvet Rose & Oud Candle is part of the intense fragrance collection from JM, they are more expensive than the standard home candles and they come in black glass rather than clear, the Velvet Rose & Oud is a really nice scent for autumn as it's really warming, the rose being the predominant smell there's also undertones of clove, praline and Oud wood. If you tend to go towards musky scents this will be one for you.

The Pomegranate Noir candle was a really touching gift to receive as not only is it one of my all time fave smells, but it was engraved, I don't actually think I'll ever be able to burn it! If you like fruity scents then this will be one for you to try out, pomegranate, raspberry and plum make up this beautiful scent, also hints of lily keep it nice and fresh.
I would love to treat myself  (the house) to a deluxe candle, although if my other half reads this he may just stop me from going in there when we hit London in December....

Shop the fragrance in 30ml & 100ml sizes here & all the candles can be found here

Urban Decay/Naked 3 Palette & Swatches

I'm a huge fan of the Urban Decay Naked Collection, and this palette doesn't disappoint.
The wait for this to be released after Naked 1 & 2 was painful, but it's worth the wait, and if your on the hunt for a new palette this is a must!

12 never before seen shades and a mix of metallic, mattes and pearls, you'll find pale pinks, through to rich warm black browns, and I have to say autumnal eyes will be easily achieved using this.

My fave shade has to be 'Dust'alone it's super pigmented and just beautiful, apply with a damp brush...and WOW, look at the difference....the left hand side shows it applied dry and the right hand side swatch is applied with a wet brush.
Shop the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette here it retails at £38 like the previous releases.

With Love From Liverpool/What I Wore

I love Liverpool so much!

Having visited for the first time a couple of months ago I couldn't wait to get back up there, I get so excited by all the history and the shopping, not to mention Peaches & Cream!
As I headed back with the in laws I thought it would be fab to go for a double make over with my Mother In Law, she has the most amazing skin and looks incredible for her age.

We were both given the ultimate Peaches treatment as we had our make up done by Kate & Nic, the owners of Peaches, and I have to say they didn't disappoint.

Nic did my make up, using a mix of Bobbi Brown and Loreal foundations to create a flawless complexion, she really went to town on my eyes, I LOVED them so much. She used a Lit Glitter in Gun smoke to create the ultimate in Birthday Girl eyes, along with the not yet released Peaches Highlighter, and one of their new unreleased glosses in the shade Babe.
I opted to have my hair done in the Ariana style that Peaches have been creating a lot recently, in ode to the stunning Ariana Grande. I felt a million dollars, as did my Mother In Law.

My two piece outfit was perfect for this time of year, and was so comfy too. Shop my outfit by clicking the link below. My shoes were something I picked up in Liverpool but you could team this outfit with several styles of shoe.

Micheal Kors/Selma Bag & Saffino Purse

To say I was spoilt rotten for my 30th would be an understatement! Everyone went all out to buy me such lovely gifts.

I owe a huge thanks to my lovely Fiance for the beautiful gifts he bought me, I've wanted one forever and he finally made my dreams come true, a Micheal Kors bag, and purse!

This is the Selma Bag by MK and they do a variety of colours in this style, I think the mandarin colour of mine will be perfect in the summer months as well as adding a pop of colour in the winter.

This is the large of the Selma style so if a bigger bags not your style then this one isn't for you, but there are so many options available, not to mention colours!
The bag is made of high quality pure leather and it will retain its shape no matter how much you pack in.
It has a zip compartment, slots for your phone and keys too.

The gold detailing and the shoulder strap really finish it off, and you know it's a good quality bag when it come in its own dust bag!

My 30th Birthday Party/What I Wore

I turned 30 on the 11th of October, and having only just finished the celebrations I know loads of you have been asking for outfit details, I have another outfit post coming up from thsi weekend too.

For my birthday party I opted for the beautiful bandage dress from House Of CB, I decided on black to stay classic, I don't think black dresses ever tire and it's something I'll be able to wear again.
The bandage material of these dresses ensure you stay pulled in, smoothing any lumps and bumps, I felt a million dollars when I wore it and had so many compliments from my party guests.

My hair and make up was done by the amazingly talented Rosie Finnigan, she transformed me and I felt amazing! She gave me a half up half down hair style and a beautiful shimmering smokey eye. I felt very glam and my make up didn't budge all night.

I teamed my dress with my beautiful Louboutin Ron Ron heels, and some jewellery from Tresor Paris, that was kindly gifted to me by my better half.

My nails were themed to match my outfit and were of course done by my fabulous nail tech Kelly Shenton, she encapsulated real feathers and glitter into them, I'm sure you'll agree they look gorgeous
I have the best group of people around me and they made sure I had a party to remember. I have been well and truly spoilt to, have a post coming up on some of my gifts as I know loads of you were wondering what I got.

Thank you to all of you who wished me a happy birthday too, you lot are so thoughtful!
